Those present were mostly relatives of the bride and groom.
The bride, handsomely attired in a pale green costume, trimmed in cream silk lace and ____ trimming, and the groom, neatly fitted in a dress-suit of black, made a splendid appearance.
After the ceremony, in which Miss Luella Fuller and Schuyler Sigler acted as bridesmaid and groomsman, the company were gathered around a bounteous table spread with all the delicacies that could tempt the appetite, made still more attractive by artistically arranged flowers from the city. Dr. Bacon, acting as host, attended to the guests in a manner which seemed to indicate a strong desire on his part to have them become as portly as is he himself.
After a hearty repast a few selections of music were rendered, when the newly married couple prepared to take their departure on the 5:32 train for Chicago, carrying with them the congratulations and well wishes of many friends.
From the city they will go to visit relatives and friends in Illinois.
The wedding presents were both numerous and costly.
