Survivors are his widow, Tillie, eight children, his mother, Mrs. Tena Worley, eight sisters and four brothers.
A resident of Athelstane, Wis., since 1952, he was born in Lowell July 15, 1901, and was married to Matilda Johnson at Crown Point Jan. 20, 1937. He was employed here by the Lake County Highway Dept. and the Indiana State Highway Dept.
Memorial services were held at 2 p.m., Jan. 11, at the Morasky Funeral Home in Wausaukee, with Rev. Leland Rubesh officiating. Burial was in the Athelstane cemetery.
He is survived by his wife; three sons, William, Larry and Thomas, and five daughters, Lois, Linda, Mary, Barbara and Janet, all at home. Also, his mother, Mrs. Tena Worley of Schneider; three brothers, Arthur of Downing, Calif., Henry of Gulfport, Miss., and Harry of Chicago; eight sisters, Mrs. Jess Spencer and Mrs. Edwin Etzel of Lowell, Mrs. Harry Forney and Mrs. William Mott of Gary, Mrs. Edna Herron and Mrs. LaGrand Reed of Schneider, Mrs. Andrew Molenaar of Rensselaer, and Mrs. Ray Call of Roselawn.
Those from here who traveled to Wisconsin to attend the memorial services were Mr. and Mrs. Harry Worley of Chicago, Mrs. Jess Spencer and Ed Etzel of Lowell.
