42nd Annual Student Art Exhibit

Can you believe the last time we held our annual   exhibit was in 2019?  Friends of the Lowell Public Library are excited to be able to host the exhibit once  again this year!  You are invited to view the  creativity and imaginations of  elementary grade students from Oak Hill, Three Creeks, and Lake  Prairie Schools, the week of May 9-13. The many works of art done in oils, watercolors, chalks, and computer graphics, as well as 3D works of art, will be on display throughout the library.

On Wednesday, May 11 at 6:00 PM, the Friends will hold a special reception for the young artists and their family members when they can enjoy cake and punch. Students will be recognized for their efforts with certificates of achievement.  The certificates will be distributed by the school art teachers the following week.

All children (grades K-5) who attend can enter to win free art supplies.  The drawing will take place on Thursday, May 12 and winners will be notified by phone. Can’t make it to the reception?  You are more than welcome to see your child’s artwork at any time that week during regular library hours!
