Student Art Exhibit

The Friends of the Lowell Library invite you to view the creativity and  imagination of elementary grade students of the Tri-Creek area  during the week of May 6-10. The many works of art done in acrylics, 3D, watercolors, chalks, and computer  graphics will be on display throughout the library.

The Friends will hold a special reception for the young artists and their family members on Wednesday, May 8 at 6:00 PM.  Students will be recognized for their efforts with certificates of achievement.  The certificates will be distributed the following week.

At the reception, Friends members will serve cake and punch. Children (grades K-5) who attend can enter a drawing for a chance to win art supplies.  Winners will be notified by phone on Thursday, May 9.

 Can’t make it to the reception?  You are welcome to see your child’s artwork at any time that week during regular library hours!
