Funeral Rights Friday For Mrs. Fred Schmal
Mrs. Elizabeth (Bargfeldt) Schmal, 80, died Tuesday morning, November 29, following a lingering illness.She was born in Crown Point, May 21, 1875, the daughter of the Adam Bargfeldts. She was a member of the Methodist church and Order of the Eastern Star, 360.
Surviving besides her husband, Fred, are: a son, Arthur G. Boston of Chicago; four step-children, Mrs. George (Maurine) Keithley, Mrs. Hugh (Viola) Hutton, and Richard Schmal, all of Lowell, and Maj. Robert E. Schmal of Munich, Germany; also a brother, Henry Bargfeldt of Gary, and a sister, Mrs. Minnie Kruchten of Chicago.
Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m., Friday, December 2, in the Sheets Funeral Home, with Rev. E.L.Worley officiating, and interment will be in the Lowell cemetery.
