Shelby War Monument

This photo, from an unidentified newspaper, dated Oct. 27, 1955, was found in a scrapbook owned by Town Historian Richard Schmal. The inscription reads:

This tablet is dedicated in grateful acknowledgement to the men and women of the Armed Forces of the United States of America who so nobly served their country during World Wars I and II and the Korean conflict. May the memory of their deeds and their names be perpetuated forever.
