The following August 28, 1924, Lowell Tribune (page 1, column 5) item was found under the heading "Memories of Years Gone By -- From Lowell Local News of November 24, 1881":

The paper announced the arrival of a baby boy at the home of E.R. Beebe, of Princeton, Wis., former editor of the Lowell Star.
