Her Seventy-Seventh Birthday.
Lowell, Ind., Dec. 18, 1903The seventy-seventh birthday of Aunt Louisa Sanders was celebrated at her home today. The presents were many and valuable. Among those present were her only brother, Mr. Goerge Haskall and his wife, Mrs. Abigal Sanders, C.H. Sanders, W.W. Sanders and wife, Mrs. Viola Tripp, of Shelby, Ind.; Mrs. Arvilla Greisel, Mrs. Mable Greisel, Miss Lizzie Grail, Miss Agnes Black, Mrs. Elsie Lawburg, O.F. Victor and Harry Fuller, of Rose Lawn.
After feasting on all the good things that is always to be found at Aunt Louisa's, the company engaged in music and merry making, which was only marred by the absence of Mrs. J.C. Cooney, of Chicago, who, owing to the severe weather, was unable to attend.
Aunt Lovisa [sic] Sanders is to be congratulated on the good health she enjoys. She is sprightly and active, with bright, clear eyes, while her faculties are acute and clear. She is a most congenial little woman, but is very practical in her methods, and looks after her farm in person. That she may reach the century mark is the wish of all. She has our best wishes.
