Florence L. "Flora" Anderson Little
(Mrs. Seth Spry "Doc" Little)

The following October 14, 1926, Lowell Tribune article appeared on page 1, column 2:

    LITTLE - ANDERSON

A pretty wedding occurred at the home of John W. Anderson, 10233 Parnell Avenue, Chicago, October 6, when his daughter, Flora, became the bride of Seth S. Little, son of Mr. and Mrs. James Little, of Lowell. "O, Promise Me" was sung by Mr. Sorenson, a cousin of the bride, and who is acquainted with many of our radio fans, having sung over radio from Mooseheart station many times. Then the wedding march was played by Mrs. Sorenson. The bride was led to the altar by her father. Little Miss Sorenson was the flower girl, and Verle Elmer Little was ring bearer. Miss Vivian Lahan acted as bride's maid and R.P. Oyler, of Ft. Wayne, was best man. The beautiful ring ceremony was used by Rev. J. Pierce Newell, pastor of the Kenwood M.E. church. The home was beautifully decorated for the occasion. After congratulations, a delicious two course lunch was served to about thirty-five immediate relatives and a few friends of the contracting parties. The young couple left amid a shower of rice and good wishes for a trip to Mammoth Cave and other points of interest and to visit friends in the southern part of the state before they return.

The groom is a graduate of Purdue University school of agriculture in the class of 1921. He is a young man who has the respect and esteem of all who know him, and his friends are legion.

The bride is a graduate of the National Kindergarten and Elementary College, of Chicago, now of Evanston, in the class of 1923, and has taught in the Dolton, Ill., schools for two or three years. We hear her spoken of as a most estimable young lady by those who have the pleasure of her acquaintance, and on behalf of our people we extend her a hearty welcome to our midst.

They will occupy the West Creek Delta Farm in West Creek township. Their many friends will join us in extending congratulations and best wishes for a happy and prosperous wedded life.
