Wilbur Lumber

Placeholder

The Wilbur Lumber Co. building was on Washington St. in Lowell, directly north of the present Costas Goods Store and west of The Livery Stable (later made into antique mall), which burned down in 1985. Wilbur's 1906 advertisement featured "Telephone poles, cedar posts, crushed stone, lime, cement, vitrified and Sheridan brick, Conrad building stone, ladders and soft and hard coal." At that time A.J. Moxell was the manager, and the phone number was 72.
