The following article from the Sept. 30, 1970, Lowell Tribune was found in the Lowell Public Library's local history clipping files (LH--Vital Statistics, vol. 2, page 1):
- Bert L Worley, age 84, passed away Tues., Aug. 18, at his home in
Antioch, Calif. He was former resident of Lowell and Cedar Lake before
moving to Antioch several years ago. He is survived by his wife Anna;
two sons, Harold of Hayward, Calif., and M. Bert of Antioch, Calif.; two
daughters, Mrs. Pauline Milner of Cedar Lake and Coral Botts of Antioch;
and one sister, Mrs. Clara Gragg of Shelby. He was a retired employee
of the former Hubbard Steel Foundry of East Chicago.
