Family Dinner Marks Birthday of Byron Ruble

Byron Ruble was a birthday celebrant Tuesday, Nov. 15. Honoring him on his 85th anniversary, Mrs. Ruble their children and immediate family members, numbering 42 in all, gathered Sunday in the home of the Rubles' son, Horace and family, at Southeast Grove, to enjoy a pot luck dinner. The delicious big birthday cake was baked by the Rubles' daughter, Mrs. Elmer Worley.

Special guests were the honoree's niece and husband, Mr. and Mrs. Carl Ludeman of Indianapolis.

The day was a very pleasant occasion for Mr. Ruble, and Mrs. Ruble, too. The couple has resided in this community for 44 years. Both are in good health and Mr. Ruble enjoys his early morning walk to town for his daily paper.
