The following February 5, 1920, Lowell Tribune article was found on page 4, column 3:

Doris Belle Bridegroom, only child of Mr. and Mrs. Orville Bridegroom, was born January 16, 1920, and passed away January 27, 1920, at the home of its parents in Hammond, at the age of eleven days. She leaves to mourn her, her parents, grand-father, grand-mothers, and many other relatives.

The many friends of Mr. and Mrs. Bridegroom sympathize with them in their grief. Rev. G.C. Middleton had charge of the funeral services. Undertaker Weaver had charge of burial service. Interment in the Lowell cemetery.

The precious one from us is gone,
The voice we loved is still,
A place is vacant in our home,
Which never can be filled.
