The following unidentified newspaper article was in a collection owned by Lowell Town Historian Richard Schmal:

Married, at Englewood, Thursday, June 29, 1899, William Buckley to Miss Letitia Sanger, both of Lowell. The bride is one of Lowell's fairest daughters who has been reared in our midst and is highly respected by all who know her. The groom is an industrious young farmer, born and reared near here and is well liked by all his acquaintances. We join the many friends of the newly married pair in wishing them a long life of happiness and prosperity.
