The following May 30, 1929, Lowell Tribune article appeared on page 8, column 4. Note that the maiden name of the bride had two different spellings in this article -- Kiser / Kizer.

    KISER - DODGE

    Emma Lucile Kizer and Merrill Dodge, both of Hammond, were united in marriage by Rev. Hueston, of Hammond, on Wednesday, May 22. They were attended by Mrs. Blanche Shultz, of Lafayette, Kenneth Berger, of Hammond, and the bride's mother.

    The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Darley Kizer, of Lafayette, and the groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Hiram A. Dodge, of Lowell.

    After the ceremony the young couple returned to their home, where a group of friends had gathered for the evening. Those present were: Mr. and Mrs. Harry Buckler and children, Mr. and Mrs. Laurence Harmes, the Misses Martha Sortoski, Alice Glombeck, Rose, Mary and Julia Paymaster, Frank Paymaster, Edward Glombeck, Lloyd Hepp, Kenneth Berger, Mrs. Blanche Shultz and Mrs. Darley Kiser.

    The young couple are at home to their friends at 474 Cherry Street, Hammond.

    The many friends of the groom here join in extending congratulations and best wishes.
