The following April 11, 1968, Lowell Tribune article was found on page 7, column 7:
    Airman First Class Randall C. Downs, son of Mr. and Mrs. William F. Miller of 7003 Catherine Street, Merrillville, Ind., is on duty at Da Nang AB, Vietnam.

    Airman Downs, a communications specialist, is assigned to a unit of the Pacific Air Forces. Before his arrival in southeast Asia, he served at Goodfellow AFB, Texas.

    The airman's wife, Janice, is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Herman Ohlson, of 855 Fig Ave., Patterson, Calif.
