The following December 25, 1924 Lowell Tribune article appeared on page 1, column 4:

    FORMER PASTOR DEAD

    Rev. Tiffin F. Drake, former pastor of the Lowell Methodist church, passed away at his home in Winamac, Ind., on Thursday of last week. Rev. Drake was born in Montgomery county, Indiana. He attended Wabash college and began his ministerial work in 1878.

    Rev. Drake was the pastor of the Lowell church from September 1907 until March 1910, when on account of poor health he was forced to retire and has had no regular charge since that time.

    During the pastorate here Rev. Drake endeared himself to the people not only of the church, but the entire community. He was a man who was well liked by all who knew him and it will be with a feeling of sadness that his large circle of friends here learn of his death. The sympathy of the community will go out to the widow in her great bereavement.
