Anna Ebert Knarr

- Death claimed another area resident this morning (Thursday) when Anna Ebert Knarr of Hebron passed away in Ford hospital, Detroit. She was 73 years old.
Well known in this area, where she taught in rural schools for many years, Mrs. Knarr had spent the winter in Florida and returned only a month ago. Her health had failed rapidly since them.
Survivors include her husband, Harry and son Dale of Hebron; daughters Mrs. Claire Mathy of Clifton, Illinois, and Mrs. Earl Keightly of Birmingham, Michigan; sisters, Mrs. Alice Gibbs of Leroy, Mrs. Hugh Turner of Hebron, Mrs. J.W. Pratt of Crown Point and Mrs. Erwin Ray of Des Plaines, Illinois. Three grandchildren are left.
Friends may call at Phillips funeral home, Hebron, after Friday. Services will be conducted at Hebron Methodist church Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock with Rev. Ray W. Kuhn officiating there and for graveside rites at Lowell cemetery.
