- Charles W. Eich, who is stationed at Great Lakes Naval Training Center, had as his Sunday guests his mother, Mrs. Charles Eich, his sister, Janet, and nephew and niece, Thomas and Mary Agnes Taylor.
This April 17, 1952, Lowell Tribune article appeared on page 2, column 2:

- Charles W. Eich, seaman apprentice aboard the Destroyer H.J. Ellison, Norfolk, Va., was home on short leave to be present at a dinner honoring him on his birthday, given on Saturday evening at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles M. Eich, and Miss Janet. Other guests present were Mr. and Mrs. Victor L. Taylor and family, and Miss Elizabeth Ann Taylor of Crown Point.
