William Flynn

The following article was found in the March 4, 1943, Lowell Tribune on page 2, column 3:

    FOUND DEAD IN BED AT CALUMET CITY HOME

    William Flynn, 46, of Calumet City, well know here, his wife being the former Hilda Kimmet, was found dead in bed by his wife yesterday morning.

    He had been in his usual good health and had attended a meeting of a church society that night and on retiring had not complained of feeling ill.

    He is survived by his wife, Hilda, a son, Robert, a daughter, Judith, two brothers and six sisters.

    Flynn was a member of the Holy Name society of St. Victor's church, the Irish Fellowship club of Calumet City, American Legion and Unity Council of the Knights of Columbus. He was also a Notre Dame retreatant.

    Funeral services will be held at Calumet City Saturday at St. Victor's church. Burial will follow at Calvary cemetery, Gary.
