Marion Scott Gray

The following unidentified newspaper articles (ca. 1903/4) were found in a scrapbook owned by Betty Burton of Lowell:
    The Misses Flora Gray and Mabel Ruley attended the funeral of their uncle, Scott Gray, at Kirland, Ind., last Thursday.

    * * * * *

    Scott Gray, of Kirkland, Ind., a former resident of Lowell, died suddenly Tuesday of last week. He was sick but a short time; being taken by a severe cramp of the stomach, which was the cause of his death. Mrs. Will J. Davis is his only child. He was just making arrangements to move back to Lowell. He was an honest and industrious man and well liked by all who were acquainted with him. The TRIBUNE extends sympathy to the bereaved relatives and friends in their dark hour of sorrow.
