Peterson, of Colorado, and Hibbert Peterson, Los Angeles, California, and many grand-children, great grand-children and one or two great great grand-children.Early in life the decedent gave her heart to her God and for more than three-quarters of a century lived a devout Christian life. Notwithstanding her age she retained all her faculties to her last moments. Her memory was very acute, not only of happenings of the long ago, but of every day events, few young people having a better memory than she.
Her true Christian character was lived in her daily life making her a good neighbor and true friend to humanity.
Funeral services were conducted at the M.E. church, south, Thursday, at 2 p.m., conducted by the pastor, Rev. E.J. Speer, after which the remains were laid to rest in the family lot in the LaBelle cemetery. -- LaBelle (Missouri) Star
Mrs. Green lived in Lowell for many years with her brother Hiram Peterson and about three years ago moved to LaBelle, Mo., where she has since resided. She was a woman who made friends with all whom she met and it will be with a feeling of regret that her large circle of friends in Lowell learn of her death.
