The following December 27, 1951, Lowell Tribune article was found on page 1, column 5:

    ATTEND FUNERAL SERVICES FOR WORLD WAR I. VET

    Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Jones and Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert Welcome attended funeral services held in Crown Point Monday for the former's uncle, Claude Jones, who died at Hines veteran hospital last Friday. Interment was in the Lowell cemetery beside his brother, Glen, also a veteran of World War I.
