Eva Nina Ruley Leader (1902-1920)

- Eva Nina Ruley, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Ruely, was born at Lowell, Ind., November 9, 1902, and passed away at St. Margaret's Hospital, November 10, 1920, at the age of 18 years and one day. She was untied in marriage to William Leader, of Hammond, June 9, 1920. Mrs. Leader was a member of the Christian church of Lowell. She was a very patient suffer and kind and loving to all.
She leaves beside a kind and loving husband; father and mother; two sisters, Mrs. Allen Neis, and Evon; four brothers, Chester, Carl, Lyle and Elmer; and other relatives and a host of friends.
Funeral services were held from the Christian church Friday afternoon. Rev. Harry Hamilton, the pastor, officiated. Flower bearers were young ladies from her Sunday school class. The following young men of the church acted as pallbearers; Franklin Petry, Arthur Williams, Cleo Stanley, Harold Trump, Virgil Sanger, Elmer Worley, Music was furnished by Mrs. Weakly, Mrs. Sanger and Mrs. Greisel. William Sheets, assisted by Hugh Hayden, had charge of the burial service. Interment in the Lowell cemetery.
