Emma Miller Sanger (1853-1927)

Emma Miller Sanger (1853-1927)
(Mrs. John N. Sanger)

The following April 28, 1927, Lowell Tribune article appeared on page 1, column 6:
    Emma Miller, youngest daughter of James and Abigail Miller, was born in Pennsylvania, April 10, 1853. She was married to John N. Sanger of Lowell, on December 20, 1874. To this union two children were born, Hattie Donzetta and Charles Niles, both of whom preceded their mother to the better land. Her husband died at their home in Shelby, February 26, 1926.

    Mrs. Sanger passed away at the home of her sister Mrs. Harriet Castle, March 20, 1927. She leaves to mourn her departure one aged sister, Mrs. Charles Castle, and grandson Earl Yates, one great-grand-daughter, Bonnie Mae Yates, and several nieces and nephews.

      Call not back the dear departed,
      Anchored safe where storms are o'er;
      On the border land we left them,
      Soon to meet and part no more.

      When we leave this world of changes,
      When we leave this world of care,
      We will find our missing loved ones
      In our Father's mansions fair.
