    ANNOUNCE ENGAGEMENT

    Mr. and Mrs. H.H. Ott of Cedar Lake are announcing the engagement of their daughter, Jean Marie, to Sgt. Robert William Stephen, son of Michael and the late Katherine Stephen of Schererville, Ind.

    Sgt. Stephen is home on rotation after a year in Korea, having seen eight months of action. In World War II he served in France, Germany, and Austria.

    The engagement was announced Saturday evening at a party given in the Anthony McGraw home at Dyer, where 30 guests enjoyed cards after which prizes were awarded and then a bountiful luncheon was served.

    No definite date has been set for the wedding.
