The following article was found in the April 13, 1944, Lowell Tribune on page 5, column 4:
    Mr. and Mrs. Peter Einspahr and John Einspahr attended the funeral of their uncle, Joseph Sons, 80, at Dyer, last Thursday. He was one of the pioneer residents of that community.
