S.P. 4th Class Kenneth A. Swett has been promoted to S.P. 5. He is in charge of maintenance of transportation of "C" Brty. C Btry has been giving coverage for the 1st air cavalry and the 101st air borne advances at Kue Sahn and now in the A Shaw Valley.S.P. Kenneth has been in Vietnam since New Year's Day and is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Morris Swett of Lowell.

Mr. and Mrs. Morris Swett were pleasantly surprised on Thanksgiving by a phone call from their son, Spec. 5 Kenneth Swett, from Sidney, Australia. He was enjoying his week of R and R there. The other members of his family, Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Benbow and daughters of South Bend and Mr. and Mrs. Edward Levin and children were at the Swett home, so they all had a turn talking to him. Mr. Benbow returned to South Bend Friday, but Mrs. Benbow and the girls remained until Sunday.Return to Lowell Biographies.
