The following article was found in the Jan. 14, 1943, Lowell Tribune on page 4, column 1:

Tom Yeater informed us Friday that he had received a letter informing him that his nephew, Donald Yeater, of Michigan City, had suffered a leg wound during an engagement of the U.S. forces against the Japs in New Guinea.
