YA Campfire

May 14, 2025 @ 5:30 pm - 7:00 pm

Free
Two marshmallows on a roasting stick being held over a teepee style campfire.

On WEDNESDAY, MAY 14TH, join other Young Adults in learning the ins and outs of fire safety, building a campfire, maintaining a campfire, and properly extinguishing a campfire using water.

Of course, who could resist roasting marshmallows, making s’mores, and listening to spooky stories while sitting around a fire?! We’ll be hearing from a local author and storyteller from Crown Point while enjoying our tasty treats.

This program WILL BE OUTSIDE, please dress for the weather. If rain is forecast, we’ll make a decision ahead of time whether to continue on or reschedule for the following WEDNESDAY, MAY 21.

We will be meeting at 5:30 to go over fire safety, collect supplies and build our structure. Please pick your child up by 7pm.

This is a free program for students 5th grade through 12th grade. For safety reasons, please DO NOT sign up younger children.

Registration is required.

Registration opens on April 23.
