The following August 24, 1944, Lowell Tribune article was found on page 5, column 5:

Mrs. F.G. Behmlander's father, A.A. Smart of Morocco, Ind., passed away Sunday morning. Funeral services were held Tuesday at the Morocco Methodist church, of which he had been a life-long member.
