Ada Grace Dickinson (1911-1919)

The following unidentified newspaper article was found in a scrapbook owned by Betty Burton of Lowell:
Ada Grace Dickinson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W.G. Dickinson, was born in Chicago, December 2, 1911, and died at the home of her parents in East Chicago, December 10, 1919, at the age of 8 years and 8 days. She leaves to mourn her death her parents, two sisters, Madalene and Helen, one brother, Russell, and a large number of other relatives and friends.

The remains were brought to Lowell Friday on the 1:30 p.m. train and were taken to the Lowell cemetery where a short service was held conducted by Rev. E.F. Winkler, pastor of the Christian church here. Mrs. R.C. McCarty and Mrs. Forrest Griesel furnished the music. Undertaker Weaver had charge of interment.

The parents of the little one formerly lived in Lowell and their many friends here extend sincere sympathy in their dark hour of sorrow.
