Albert L. Thompson
- Albert L. Thompson died at his home, 1002 So. River Street, Wednesday, after an illness of more than ten months.
He was more than 80 years old.
It is requested that no flowers be sent.
The deceased is survived by his widow, two sons, H. Arthur Thompson of St. Cloud, Minn., and Chester A. Thompson of Inglewood, Calif., and seven grandchildren.
Albert L. Thompson was born in Chicago on Nov. 21, 1848. He was a small child when his parents moved to Lake County, Indiana, where he grew to manhood on a farm. He taught school for about ten years.
In 1877 he married Miss Mary Spalding of West Creek, Ind.
Three years later he moved to Chicago where he lived 21 years. He was a master plumber.
In 1900 he came to Eau Claire, and settled on a farm in the town of Washington. He moved to the town of Seymour in 1913. In 1916 he moved to this city to a house on So. Dewey St. In 1927 he bought a home at 1002 So. River St.
