    DOTY - OLTROGGE

Sunday, March 2, 1924, was the scene of a very pretty wedding when Miss Alice Oltrogge became the bride of Cecil G. Doty. The ceremony was performed by Rev. E. H. Stommel at the home of the bride's sister, Mrs. Archie R. Doty, at Crown Point at 2 p.m. The bride wore a gown of silver gray satin charmuese and carried a bouquet of bride's roses. She also wore a beautiful bridal veil. Nelda F. Doty and Della M. Doty acted as train bearers. The double ring ceremony was used.

After the ceremony a wedding dinner was served to about 17 of the immediate members of the families, at which time the beautiful wedding cake was cut by the bride. At 6 p.m. the guests departed for their homes wishing the young couple much happiness on their ways of life.

The bride is the youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Oltrogge of Beecher, Ill., and is well known at Lowell, having lived near here during her girlhood. She is a very highly esteemed young lady.

The groom is the youngest son of Mr. and Mrs. Wilbur Doty, of Crown Point, and is a highly respected young man.

The young couple will be at home to their many friends at 309 Porter Street, Crown Point, after March 9th.
