    Allen Buche, son of the Clarence Buches, who graduated from Lowell high school last spring, enlisted in the Navy December 12th and is stationed at Great Lakes for recruit training. Address: Allen D. Buche SR4611461, Co. 983, 10th Regt., 102 Batl., Camp Downs, USNTC, Great Lakes, Ill.

This March 20, 1952, Lowell Tribune article was found on page 2, column 1:
    Allan Buche, A.S., has returned to Great Lake Naval Training Center for further assignment, concluding an enjoyable 14-day leave spent at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Buche.

This April 24, 1952, Lowell Tribune article appeared on page 2, column 4:
    Allen D. Buche, who is stationed aboard the U.S.S. Epperson in Pearl Harbor, would be glad to receive mail addressed to Allen D. Buche, S.A. 4611461, U.S.S. Epperson (D.D.E.-719), c/o F.P.O., San Francisco, California.

The following July 31, 1952, Lowell Tribune article appeared on page 2, column 1:
    Allen D. Buche, seaman, who has been aboard the U.S.S. Epperson at Pearl Harbor, was flown to San Diego and assigned to Radio school for four months. His new address is: Allen D. Buche, S.A. 461-14-61, Radio School, Class No. 2, B-53, U.S.N.-T. San Diego 33, California.

The following December 18, 1952, Lowell Tribune article appeared on page 2, column 2:
    After an extended leave, Allen Buche, S.A., will leave via air, Friday night for Treasure Island to rejoin his ship, which is now located near Japan.
