Alma Strong (1824-1896)

- Alma Strong was born in New York State, August 27, 1824, and died at her home in Lake County, October 31, 1896, aged 72 years, 3 months, and 4 days. She was united to holy matrimony to Daniel Strong on October 30, 1844, having been married 52 years and 1 day. To this union were born 7 children -- 2 boys and 5 girls. Two of which have preceded her to the land of rest. She united with the M.E. church at the age of 16 years and has lived a consistent Christian life. She died trusting her savior, relying his promises.
