Andrew Dunleavy

Andrew Dunleavy

The following January 10, 1929, Lowell Tribune article appeared on page 1, column 1:

    FORMER RESIDENT CALLED

Arthur Dunleavy, who was a resident of Lowell and vicinity for many years, but for the past 19 years, on account of infirmities, has been a resident at the county farm, died at that institution at 8:15 on Tuesday night.

He was born in Ireland about 90 years or more ago. He was a man who was of a quiet disposition and made friends with all whom he came in contact. So far as is known he did not have a living relative in this country.

The remains were brought to Lowell yesterday and on Friday morning at 10 a short service will be held at the Weaver and Son funeral parlor after which the remains will be taken to Lake Prairie cemetery for burial.
