The following November 1, 1928, Lowell Tribune article appeared on page 1, column 4:

    YOUNG COUPLE ARE WEDDED

MISS ANITA DAUM AND CLAUDE HAYDEN MARRIED LAST THURSDAY.

Miss Anita Daum, of Lowell, and Claude M. Hayden, of Grant Park, Ill., were united in marriage in Hammond, Ind., on Thursday, Oct. 25, 1928. The ceremony was read by the Rev. Ford, of the Hammond M.E. church. Mrs. Earle Tanner, intimate friend of the bride, acted as bridesmaid and Earle Tanner acted as best man.

The bride was attractively attired in a blue velvet frock and wore hat and slippers to harmonize. Mrs. Tanner wore a gown of lovely tan crepe with slippers and hat to match.

Mrs. Hayden is well known here, having lived here all her life. She is the only daughter of Jesse M. Daum.

Mr. Hayden is the youngest son of Mr. and Mrs. Merritt Hayden, of Grant Park, and is also well known here.

The young couple left immediately after the ceremony for a motor trip though Kentucky and other points in the south. After their return they will reside on a farm near Grant Park, Ill.

Both Mr. and Mrs. Hayden are splendid young people and have the best wishes of their many friends for much happiness.
