Mrs. Anna Fedde, 88, Former Lowell Resident, Dies in Indianapolis
Mrs. Anna Fedde, 88, a resident of the Lowell community until 11 years ago, passed away at her home in Indianapolis Monday morning. She had finished the breakfast dishes and rested peacefully in her chair when death came.Her husband, Henry Fedde, died in 1923, and since that time she made her home with her only child, Miss Ruth Fedde. Ruth, a former Lowell librarian, left here 11 years ago to accept a position at Franklin, where she and her mother lived for three years, before going to Indianapolis where Ruth holds the position of chief librarian at the Methodist hospital.
Memorial services were held at the Flanner and Buchanan mortuary in the capitol city at 4 p.m. Tuesday, and at the Weaver Funeral home here at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday. Rev. McClurg, chaplain of the Methodist hospital, Indianapolis, officiated. Interment was in the Lowell cemetery beside her husband. John Eskridge was in charge of arrangements.
