Mrs. Kuhl, before her marriage, was Anna Katherine Margaret Einspahr, and was born August 6, 1848, in Wesselbuhren, Holstein, Germany. At about 5 years of age her parents brought her to America and they settled in Indiana.

At an early age she united with the German Methodist Episcopal church of which she remained a faithful member throughout her life.

She died a triumphant death April 2, 1921, at the age of 72 years, 7 months and 28 days.

She leaves to mourn 8 children, 38 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Fred Einspahr, of Lowell; John Einspahr, of Adebolt, Iowa; one sister, Mrs. Jacob Buehler, of Odebolt, Iowa; and a host of relatives and friends.
