This unidentified, undated newspaper article was found in a scrapbook owned by Town Historian Richard Schmal:

Married in Chicago, September 2, 1914, Arthur J. Henderlong of Crown Point, to Miss Neva U. Newkirk, of Lowell. The bride is the daughter of William Newkirk, and is a young lady who counts her friends by the number of her acquaintances. The young couple returned to Lowell Wednesday and the bride's father gave a reception at his home east of Lowell, at which there were fifty or sixty invited guests.
