Audrey Peterson Keithley
(Mrs. David G. "Dave" Keithley)

The following February 21, 1952, Lowell Tribune article was found on page 9, column 3:

Audrey Peterson is Bride of Pfc. David Keithley

Pfc. David Keithley and his bride, the former Audrey Peterson, are residing at Cedar Lake, after their marriage February 9th in the Lowell Church of Christ parsonage.

Rev. Loren Holt officiated at the single ring rites uniting in marriage the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Peterson of Cedar Lake and the son of Mr. and Mrs. George Keithley of Lowell. The six o'clock p.m. service was read in the presence of the bride and groom's parents and close friends.

Navy and white accessories and a corsage of red rose buds and white carnations complimented the navy suit chosen by Miss Peterson for her wedding ensemble. Mrs. Merle Sutton was the matron of honor, her costume featuring a gray suit with deep red and black accessories and a corsage of red roses.

Merle Sutton served as best man.

After the ceremony, 80 guests greeted the couple at a reception in the home of the bride's parents.

The couple honeymooned in southern Indiana and Illinois. At Georgetown they were guests of the groom's grandmother, Mrs. L. Dora Keithley.

Both are alumni of Lowell high school. The bride will continue her work as secretary for Weiss and Weiss in South Chicago and reside with her parents at Cedar Lake, while Pfc. Keithley, recently returned from a year's service on the Korean battle front, completes his term of service with the Army.
