NUPTIAL RITES UNITE COUPLE IN GARY
Honeymooning in Florida, are Joseph Crnkovich of Gary, and his bride, who was Barbara Cleaver before their marriage, October 20 in St. Joseph's rectory at H 5 Delaware St., Gary. The couple exchanged wedding vows and rings in a 10 o'clock service at which Father Godinian officiated.After the ceremony members of the immediate families attended an 11:30 a.m. breakfast at the Club Peradovic, which at 7:30 p.m. was the scene of a reception dance where more than 225 friends and relatives gathered to extend congratulations.
The bride was lovely in a ballerina gown of white lace over bridal satin. Her veil of illusion fell to fingertip length from a Juliet cap adorned with seed pearls and she carried a cascade bouquet of white carnations.
The bride chose as her matron of honor, her sister, Mrs. Marilyn Mummie. She was attired in a ballerina gown of teal blue with matching gloves and pumps. She carried yellow mums and wore a wreath of yellow baby mums in her hair.
Michael Crnkovich served his brother as best man.
The bride, who is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Merrill Cleaver of Liberty street, is a graduate of Lowell high school.
The couple will be at home to their many friends at 4432 Broadway in Gary.
