DEATH ANGEL CALLS LITTLE GIRL
NINE-YEAR-OLD DAUGHTER OF MR. AND MRS. GEO. OSTER PASSES AWAY.
Barbara Jane Oster, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Oster, of west of town, was born April 4, 1918, and passed away April 21, 1927. She was nine years and seventeen days of age. Sadness came to the many relatives and friends last Thursday morning as the news of Barbara Jane's death came to them. It seemed it could not be true as she was only sick three days. She has been under the doctor's care since October but the last three days complications set in causing her death.All was done by the doctors and friends that could be done to bring relief, but it seemed the time had come for her to be taken above, and all that could be said was "Thy will be done."
She was a very bright and affectionate child and was a ray of bright sunshine in the home. She had not been in school since fall and was unusually clever in her school work. She will be greatly missed by her parents and little baby sister and the many relatives who have the sincere sympathy of their many friends.
A short service was held at the home Saturday at 1 p.m. and at the Methodist church at Grant Park at 2 p.m. Burial took place at the Union Corners cemetery.
