The following April 11, 1929, Lowell Tribune article appeared on page 1, column 2:

Word has been received here of the death of Mrs. Martin Childers at her home in Topeka, Kansas, a few days ago. She formerly lived in this section of the country. Her maiden name was Beatrice Evelyn Sharkey and she was born in Momence, Ill., March 2, 1860. She was a sister-in-law to the late Mrs. Emma King.
