Bessie L. Post Ware

- The Los Angeles (Cal.) Herald, of June 10, contains the marriage of Miss Bessie Post, a former resident of Lowell, to Edward F. Ware, of Covina, Cal. The account is made the more interesting by reason of portraits of the young people. We reprint the account o the wedding as follows:
"The home of Mr. and Mrs. Judson A. Davis, 935 West Washington street, was the scene of a pretty event Wednesday evening, the occasion being the marriage of Mrs. Davis' cousin, Miss Bessie L. Post, to Edward F. Ware. For the occasion the home was prettily decorated with a profusion of cut flowers and asparagus plumosus. In the parlors white and red carnations were used, while the dining room was in pink blossoms. The ceremony was performed under a canopy, from which was suspended a yoke made of white carnations. At the entrance of the bridal party Mrs. Davis played the Lohengrin wedding march and during the ceremony Miss Daisy Dinwiddie , an accomplished vocalist visiting here from the east, sang "Oh, Promise Me." The ceremony was performed by Dr. M.L. Ryle and the only attendant, little Jack Davis, who acted as ring bearer. A reception was held and a wedding supper served. The bride wore a handsome gown of white crepe de chine, elaborately trimmed with lace and pearls. The yoke and skirt were shirred and the girdle and collar were elaborately embroidered in pearls. She carried a shower bouquet of white carnations. Miss Post is a very popular young woman who has made her home with her father and brother, 925 East Twenty-seventh street, and the groom is a well known young business man of Corvina. At the latter place the young people will reside."
