    Pvt. Beaufort* (Red) Luchene returned to camp in North Carolina this week, accompanied by his wife.

* NOTE -- The spelling of the first name in this article is probably a typographical error.

This March 30, 1944, Lowell Tribune article was found on page 6, column 1:
    Mr. and Mrs. Frank Luchene are in North Carolina, where they went to visit their son, Cpl. Beauford Luchene, who recently had a muscle tumor operation.
This Lowell Tribune article was found in the September 27, 1945, issue (page 2, column 1):
    Sgt. Beuford R. Luchene of Shelby, arrived home Sept. 13 from overseas, where he had been for over 16 months.
