The following article was found in the April 20, 1944, Lowell Tribune on page 6, column 3:

Mr. and Mrs. Alva Hayden and daughter, Mrs. Otis Claussen, and Mrs. Carrie Carstens of Ft. Wayne, came Monday to attend the funeral of Mrs. Jesse Hayden. They remained until Tuesday for a short visit with relatives and friends.
