This August 9, 1951, Lowell Tribune article was found page 1, column 5:
    Seaman Charles Miedl, fireman, son of Mr. and Mrs. Otto Meidl of the Lowell-Cedar Lake road, is now stationed at Millington Naval Base in Tennessee. He had as his guest recently, his brother, Otto Meidl, Jr.

Note that the last name is spelled two different ways in this brief article.
