Charles Shuttz
Two Brothers Wounded
Word received by Mrs. William Ewer states that two of her brothers in the service have been wounded recently. Cpl. Charles Shuttz was wounded while fighting with the U.S. forces in Luxembourg, on Jan. 19th, and is now in a hospital in France, where he is getting along nicely.Another brother, Pvt. Ralph, is in a California hospital recovering from wounds received while going through bayonet practice. His outfit has since left for overseas duty and he will join them as soon as he recovers.
The Shuttz boys lived northeast of town with their parents a number of years ago.
